Attendees will discover how sharing values and working closely during a partnership can keep a nonprofit’s legacy alive and make things better both organizations, their staff, and most importantly the individuals they serve.

This Webinar explores how hands-on, meaningful activity strengthens communication, connection, and resilience across the lifespan. This session introduces key definitions and credentialing considerations, then “puzzles together” how experiential practices fit into residential and community-based care. Participants will walk away with fun, effective, skill-building tools that promote lifelong leisure engagement and enhance wellbeing for youth, families, and staff—showing that experiential work is never an either-or, but an approach that enriches every level of care.

Very often people are not fully satisfied with their supervisory relationship. They may stay in a frustrated mode and not work on their own their half of the relationship. They lose many opportunities for professional growth, and end up being less effective. Other times people are happy with their supervisory relationship, but do not proactively strategize how to get even more out of supervision and enhance their own professional growth and upward mobility. This highly interactive workshop, delivered in the presenters’ unique conversational “coaching style” will present a series of strategies for highly motivated people to assess their role in the supervisory relationship and to develop pro-active strategies to better "own their own supervision". This workshop is open to individual supervisees or supervisors, and "brave" supervisors and supervisees who will attend together and strategize ways to grow together professionally.

-Answering the question "If I Could Supervise My Supervisor..."
-Examining the power that is in the supervisory relationship and developing healthy ways to balance it better
-Remember: Supervision is a professional relationship
-Assessing your supervisor's style and preference
-Is it ever ok "go over my supervisor's head"?
-How are you most valuable to your agency? How do you show people?
-Learning the art of constructively "managing your boss" as a way to grow in your career
