Cal Farley’s has been “home” to more than 9,000 boys and girls since 1939, and has provided life-changing professional services at no cost for youth and families in need. We make a lifelong commitment to nurture and care for each child we serve.

Boys and girls come to us from across the United States to live in a nurturing, structured environment. Cal Farley’s Boys Ranch is a modern community complete with a chapel, medical facilities, recreational facilities, and homes. Cal Farley’s Girlstown, U.S.A. focuses on preparing young women for transitioning into independence. The boys and girls served through our campus-based services enjoy a variety of academic, vocational, spiritual and extra-curricular activities to help them become responsible and resilient young people.

Our lifelong commitment is demonstrated through our alumni support programs. Alumni can access services such as college scholarships, vocational assistance, temporary housing assistance and other case management services.

Our community-based services enable us to serve more children and families in need with a broader spectrum of programs and support. Currently, we have five Family Resource Centers (FRCs) throughout Texas.

All aspects of our continuum of care are based on the Cal Farley’s Model of Leadership and Service, which focuses on the six needs of all individuals – safety, belonging, achievement, power, purpose and adventure.
