Maintaining their commitment trauma-focused and ACES-aligned cultures of care, our panelists will drive conversations intended to inform and engage around this often misunderstood and infrequently discussed area of human development.

Presented by:

Dave Wallace presently serves as the Executive Director at LaSalle School, in Albany, NY. With over 20 years of experience in child welfare, mental health, and juvenile justice, Mr. Wallace is a widely recognized expert in addressing the needs of youth and families who have experienced sexual abuse and complex trauma. As an active trainer, Mr. Wallace has presented to audiences throughout the US, Canada and Australia, on the topics of trauma, clinical best practices, and behavioral health policy. Mr. Wallace also serves on several state and national associations, boards, and committees, all dedicated to the improvement of treatment services to youth and families with complex mental health and behavioral needs.

Kayla Malloy, LMHC is the Director of Community Based Clinical Services Program at LaSalle School in Albany, NY. In her role, Ms. Malloy supervises and manages: an integrated substance use and mental health clinic for children, adolescents, and young adults; community based case management services through CFTSS; and a School Based Mental Health Program that services clients from all middle schools in Ulster County. Prior to her role as Associate Clinical Director, Ms. Malloy was a clinical supervisor of community based services and a therapist who provided individual, group, and family therapy to residential males at LaSalle who engaged in problematic sexual behavior, fire setting, and/or had complex mental health needs. 

Stacey Scholl, LPC, is the Clinical Director at Cathedral Home for Children in Laramie, WY - a non-profit organization that provides family care coordination, crisis and shelter care, group home services, community counseling, residential care and after-care support; Stacey has worked for Cathedral Home since 2005 and has provided therapy to youth and families across a continuum level of care including community and residential based settings. In addition to providing therapy, Stacey oversees the delivery of clinical offerings, provides clinical supervision to agency clinicians, and assists with Cathedral Home's research of mental health risk/resilience factors and effective assessment of counseling interventions; such research informs Cathedral Home's continued implementation of quality of care and has been published in a number of peer-reviewed articles. 

Dr. Ian McCracken is an Australian born and trained Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist. He works (almost) exclusively with Children & Adolescents living in Out of Home Care with a not-for-profit agency Allambi Care. Allambi Care is headquartered in the Newcastle region, on the East coast of NSW, approximately 100 miles north of Sydney. Whilst his work at Allambi is primarily face-to-face clinical, Ian's passion is for the holistic wellbeing of kids in care. As such he has been instrumental in developing and leading the in-house Sexual Safety & Wellbeing Committee, a weekly-convened Sexual Safety Clinical Panel, and the Sexuality & Gender Inclusivity and Diversity Committee.
