Innovations in Affirming Care for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Queer Youth: Where we are today as a community and as a field

ACRC members often lead the field, laying an innovative and courageous path for those serving children in residential care and communities. This is a turbulent period in our Nation’s fight for diversity, equity, and inclusion. June, the month of PRIDE and the anniversary of the tragic shooting at the Pulse Night Club in Orlando, Florida calls for examining where we are today. What has changed? What are we doing different? Collectively, we can learn from one another. This 60-minute live webinar will feature panelists comprised of child serving providers and community organizations who will describe their work creating affirming programs from different perspectives and processes. Participants will have the opportunity to ask questions and exchange ideas as a commitment to build strong communities and affirming environments for our LGBTQ children and Families.
