The US Department of Health and Human Services, Administration for Children and Families (ACF) is calling on partners across the country to support a broad-sweeping humanitarian effort to swiftly place thousands of unaccompanied children into the care of safe, licensed, community-based providers that have open shelter beds. The goal is to ensure high-quality care on day one for children entering ORR custody. There are current opportunities for providers to partner with the Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR), either as a direct ORR Grantee and/or as a Short-Term Contractor providing foster care or residential shelter services, among other needs.
If you are a provider who would like to join in this work as aligned with your capacity and expertise, but you have questions and need to learn more about what it means contract directly with ORR and serve unaccompanied children, this webinar is for you. Participants considering providing UC care through ORR will learn basic information about what is involved with service delivery and have an opportunity to ask clarifying questions of current ORR-contracted UC providers. There will be ongoing opportunities to access technical assistance after this webinar.
