If children are to thrive, they need to have predictable, engaging, responsive, compassionate, secure, purposeful, and stimulating experiences on an ongoing basis. This enormous challenge can be accomplished in therapeutic residential care by creating a culture and living environment that provides developmentally enriching relationships and experiences as well as a sense of safety and a trauma sensitive environment. This presentation will present an overview of the models and outcomes when Therapeutic Crisis Intervention (TCI) System and the CARE program model and organizational outcomes are implemented with fidelity.
