Accreditation demonstrates an organizational commitment to meet standards of best practice and pursue continuous quality improvement. Whether your field mandates accreditation or your organization voluntarily chooses accreditation, the global pandemic has underscored the benefits of the accreditation process. Travel restrictions and stay-at-home orders have also created questions about how to pursue or maintain accreditation, and looming deadlines created by laws such as the Family First Prevention Services Act create even more urgency and uncertainty. Join this webinar to hear from Accreditation Guru and directly from representatives of all the HHS-approved accrediting bodies: CARF International, Council on Accreditation (COA), EAGLE Accreditation, The Joint Commission, and Teaching-Family Association (TFA). In this interactive panel discussion, we'll bust myths about what is or is not changing as a result of COVID-19, we'll share some of the innovations and pivots that accrediting bodies are making in the wake of the pandemic, and we'll discuss the ways accreditation can help your organization stay responsive  and flexible in an ever-changing climate. The last 30 minutes of the webinar will be dedicated to answering questions in real-time.

The Panelists:

Debbi Witham, Managing Director of Public Policy and OTP Programs, CARF International

Jennifer Flowers, Founder and CEO, Accreditation Guru

Craig Gammon, Accreditation and Ethics Committee Chair, Teaching-Family Association (TFA)

Ruby Goyal-Carkeek, VP of Accreditation, Council on Accreditation (COA)

Mary Kemper, President and CEO of the United Methodist Association (UMA), EAGLE Accreditation
