Support legislation to exempt QRTPs from the IMD exclusion
For states to move forward confidently with implementation of the Family First Prevention Services Act, we must ensure Medicaid coverage continuity for youth in foster care. Unless there is a change in law, youth in foster care are at risk of losing their federal Medicaid coverage when placed in a Qualified Residential Treatment Program (QRTP) that has more than 16 beds.

Please fill out this form if you would like your organization to join a national coalition of diverse stakeholders asking Congress to exempt QRTPs from the Institution for Mental Diseases (IMD) exclusion.
